We went swimming yesterday. The hotel requires swimming caps. Amy made some great faces... "what did you people put on my head?" Water was a little chilly but we were in the water for 1/2hr.
In the morning we visited a village in the suburbs of Nanchang. Very friendly but inquisitive people.
Today we're off to Guangzhou. Only 1hr 20 min flight. We've learned a lot about our Maggie Li this week so we're optimistic about the flight.
It has been an amazing week in Nanchang. Kelly and I couldn't be happier. Amy has been so wonderful.

ReplyDeleteAnother part of your adventure ahead . . getting Amy's physical data (how many teeth does she have? and how many kilos does she weigh?) Finally, dealing with the US consulate!!! [It was quite an experience, '97 in Prague, trying to get on the plane back to the US, I had misplaced my Green card and was treated like an imposter!]

Hahaha, Kelly, I first saw this picture and was thinking, "WHAT in the world is Kelly wearing a swim cap for"??? "And they even have one on poor Amy"!!! LOL, now it makes sense, if you have to have it on. I hate those things, they always ripped my hair out!!
