Doctor's

Amy had her first doctor's appointment today & was very well behaved, actually enjoying herself, until the 2 shots.  Unfortunately she is behind in 2 US standard immunizations so has to make them up over the next 4 months.  She cried horribly at first but once we left the room was fine.

She is 20 lbs 11 oz & 28 inches long.  Somehow she has gained about a pound but lost 2 inches since China, so we are taking measurements with a grain of salt at this point.  According to the doctor for age & height she is in the 25th percentile approximately for her weight, which many would find surprising since they all think she's chunky.  She feels chunky after holding her for a while, I have to admit - lol!  Overall, though, we and the doctor all agree that she is a healthy baby & progressing along as she should be.  This is just another confirmation that the orphanage took great care of her!!!!!
