2nd Birthday - Fall Festival

This time 2 years ago, we had just received our scared little girl who is now our bundle of energy and is constantly amazing us! We are celebrating this year with our new, wonderful friends who have a great little girl - Amy's best friend (as she says). And of course we are having a great Chinese dinner. Josh has perfected his Chinese cooking!

Christmas Morning

It has been a fast and an incredible year!!!! So much has happened and many changes have occurred. By now all of you have heard we moved to Nashville at the beginning of the year. It was a tough adjustment for many reasons. We lost the support of family and friends, we left 80+ degree temperatures to 0 and snow and Josh changed jobs. Since we moved here, we have had to move again, which was a blessing in disguise. We now live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of young families. We can walk to many restaurants, parks and we have some incredible friends who live one street over. They have a 3 year old daughter from the same province as Amy. And most importantly, Amy loves our new house and neighborhood. She and Josh go for jogs (she loves to run), bicycling, or to the playground across the street almost nightly as mama gets a few quiet moments to herself.

Since we moved and with the loss of our support system, we found that keeping Amy busy in activities makes for happier child and mama. She has done swim and Kindermusik and currently is in soccer, gymnastics, and dance. We start music back up in 2 weeks. She continues to wow us, along with her coaches/teachers, on her abilities and energy. They all say she needs to come out of her shell more - haha!!!!!

We apologize to those who do not get to see Amy and miss our blog. We found it hard to get back into the groove of posting on a regular basis. I would like to say that we will get better but I know we won't. Sorry! Our house is almost always active and when we are not, we relish the quiet down time and tend to veg out.

Just like I did last year, I am going to post a picture from each month from the past year. We love and miss all of our friends and family!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy our trip down memory lane.
